Luengo’s Butter Beans, also known as Lima Beans, are grown in the rich soils of Spain. These large beans are noted for their rich flavor and creamy texture. Ideal for eating cold or warm. Perfect for creating apps, mains or side dishes. This is a great pantry staple that is incredibly versatile as it can be used in soups, stews, braises, casseroles, dips, spreads, and salads. Butter beans are also delicious on their own with a little lemon juice and salt.
It all started in La Bañeza, León, a region in northwest Spain where pulses are a true symbol of identity. For over 100 years, Luengo has been perfecting the art of selecting and cooking beans. Their facilities are in Riego de la Vega, where they select, preserve and package dried and cooked pulses with the latest equipment.
